Position: Part-Time Art Teacher (3 days a week)

Role Overview: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Art Teacher to inspire our students and help them achieve their artistic potential. This role involves teaching art to students across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for the subject, and encouraging creative exploration. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced educators seeking a flexible part-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Develop and implement a creative and comprehensive art curriculum.
• Encourage and inspire students to explore various artistic techniques and mediums.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Organize and participate in art exhibitions, displays, and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and dynamic learning environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Art or a related field.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for art education.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a part-time teaching role.
