Art teacher - September start - Rochdale

Prospero Teaching are looking for a qualified teacher of Art to work in a secondary school in Rochdale. This role is a full time position, starting in September and will continue until the end of the academic year, there could be an opportunity for the position to become permanent. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom management.

You will be required to have experience teaching key stage 3 & 4 art and provide engaging lessons that not only interest the students but encourage them to stretch themselves to gain the best possible outcomes in their ability.

You will be required to become part of the department by attending departmental meetings, parents evenings as well as mark the students work and provide regular constructive feedback, to help encourage the students to succeed.

The role is open to ECTs as well as fully qualified teachers.

Hours 8:15AM 4PM Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant teaching qualification

Previous experience teaching in a school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)

Up to date Prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
