We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and energetic personwho is committed to providing the highest quality education to secondary school children across Derby.
Job Details:
This Art Teacher role is a full-time position starting September, with the potential of progressing to a permanent position.
We require an eager and passionate Qualified Art Teacher that will innovate and raise standards as well as attainment. A good sense of humour, the ability to relate and effectively communicate with young people are essential.
This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic Secondary School.
To be successful for this Art Teacher position, you will:
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
- Have previous experience working as a Teacher or within a Secondary School setting.
- Have good understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
- Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
- Have a passion for working with young people.
- Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
- Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.

Essential Requirements:
As a minimum, all applicants must have:
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
- A positive approach to child development, managing behaviourand be passionate about your area of expertise which is evident in your teaching.
- Applicants will be subject to pre-employment checks and should hold current DBS check registered to the update service.
