Good evening, I am eager to discuss with you an Asbestos Analyst position that Penguin have picked up for a UKAS accredited company that operates in London and the Southeast. Commercial contracts are on being won, moving forward they will need an extra pair of experienced hands with Air Monitoring and Air Testing.

My contact within the company has been tasked with growing the business which is currently on the smaller side with 16 or so on-site staff, one of which being an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst I placed with them this week. The Operations Manager is a stand-up guy, who takes into consideration team members personal lives, for example, he ensured the team were able to get to the pub earlier today for the England game… you can't knock him!

Essential Requirements to be Considered for an Asbestos Analyst:

• BOHS P403 and P404/RSPH3 qualified (Additional P402 cert highly desirable)
• Full UK driving license and willing to commute
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good level of IT and numeracy skills
• Good working knowledge of HSG:248 guidelines
• Confident in undertaking all aspects of the Asbestos Analyst role

As an Asbestos Analyst, you will:

• Conduct 4 stage clearance, smoke, background and visual air, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
• Ensure all work carried out is in line with the UKAS legislation and practices
• Generating on-site air quality reports to be issued to clients
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and members of the public daily
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
