Asbestos Analyst Opportunity on a Static Site

Salary up to £34,000 plus a monthly and bi-annual bonus scheme

Company van, Fuelcard, 29 days annual leave

A long-standing client of Penguins, a Specialist Asbestos Consultancy that have been expanding first throughout the midlands and now into the Northwest got in contact with a new role fro an Asbestos Analyst.

This vacancy is on a static commercial site that is five minutes from the Junction M62 turn off from the M6. Most of the work consists of air testing, with a 4-stage clearance being needed every 3-4 weeks.

Duties for an Asbestos Analyst:

  • Ensure health and safety standards are always maintained.
  • Collate data and produce various reports when required.
  • Complete air monitoring and stage 4 clearance testing on a range of buildings.
  • Complete various management, demolition, and refurbishment surveys on a range of sites.

To be successful as an Asbestos Analyst you must have:

  • Relevant qualifications for the role, P403 and P404
  • A broad knowledge of Asbestos health and safety legislation and be able to always apply it on site.
  • At least a year working experience in the Asbestos industry.
  • A Full UK driving licence.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver excellent customer service to clients, contractors, and the public.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and be able to commute and work out of hours when necessary.
  • Good IT and numerical skills.
