Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £38k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with an independent and professional UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who have a leading presence in the North West region. Due to continued success, they are now looking to take on a qualified and diligent Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will be covering on a mixed portfolio of sites, including Industrial, Commercial, Educational, and Healthcare carrying out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys as alongside 4 stage clearances and smoke, leak, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing. Our client can offer the successful candidate opportunities for career progression, company vehicle (with private usage), excellent pension scheme and opportunities for overtime with excellent overtime rates.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Manchester, Rochdale, Bury, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Bolton, St Helens, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Warrington, Maccelsfield, Chester, Crewe, Buxton, Huddersfield, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402, P403, and P404 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role.
" Experience working hands on as a surveyor / analyst for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Will have experience providing asbestos management services across Industrial, Commercial, Educational, and Healthcare sites.
" Extensive knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Good organisational skills, able to manage workload in line with company and client needs.
" Able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
The Role:
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Undertaking re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Carrying out sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag safely and label correctly prior to sending to the lab for analysis.
" 4 stage clearances.
" Smoke, leak, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
" Providing clients with certificates of re-occupation.
" Carrying out onsite audits.
" Working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Assisting in training of new employees.
