ASD Teaching Assistant

Location- Radford, Coventry, CV6

Daily Rate- £85-£100 | Start Date- 02/09/2024 |Contract- Full time (Temp to Perm)

Term time only | Supportive SLT & SENCO | Ofsted Rated 'Good'

LTF Recruitment are looking for a caring and nurturing SEN teaching assistant to work in our welcoming Primary school in the Radford area. This role will involve working on a 1-1 basis with a child in Key Stage One who has ASD, and non-verbal and requires assistance with personal care. The role is offered on a long term basis with the potential to become permanent.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Has experience supporting children 1:1
  • Has experience or knowledge of supporting child/children with ASD, SLCN, non-verbal.
  • Understanding of EYFS & Key stage One curriculum
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour.
  • Has TA qualifications or relevant degree
  • Can work as part of a team.
