This school's student population come from diverse backgrounds, with some facing differing challenges related to neglect, trauma and anxiety. These young people require consistency and support to help regulate their emotions and process their thoughts and feelings. As an aspiring behavioural therapist, you get to experience helping students to approach these challenges in a healthy manner. Working on a one-to-one basis to ensure students are on task while collaborating with the class teacher, on-site professionals and other experienced staff to provide tailored education will be an excellent insight for an aspiring behavioural therapist. You will play a role in identifying and addressing possible triggers for the pupils in regard to their trauma and psychological needs. The role will also include facilitating different therapeutic techniques with the goal of promoting students' mental well-being.
