A fantastic academy school in Wokingham are looking to welcome a new member of SEN support staff on board, starting in the new academic year. The school is looking for a recent criminology graduate with an interest in the psychology industry to join their staff in supporting students.

Working with the school will provide Aspiring Clinical Therapists with an insight to how their work can elevate a student's potential through consistent encouragement. While working as support staff you will see how your work fostering trustworthy relationships and helping students learn regulation techniques will improve their quality of life and help them stay on a positive path in society. The role will include working with a selection of students, supporting them on a 1-1 basis throughout their school career. You will help them approach their individual challenges and unique requirements. As an Aspiring Clinical Therapist, you will get helpful advice and guidance from psychologists ad therapists on -site regarding therapeutic techniques, effective communication methods and identifying trigger areas. The students at the school come from diverse backgrounds and have varying social, emotional and mental health needs, so the successful candidate should be patient, versatile and passionate about supporting the younger generation.
