Assembly Operative

We are working on behalf of our client in Spennymoor who requires an experienced Assembly Operative. This is a permanent day shift role with an early finish on a Friday. The ideal candidate would have experience working with either Aluminium or UPVC.

Hours of work would be Monday - Thursday 7.00am-3.00pm and Friday 6.00am-1.00pm.

Duties Include:

• Using hand tools such as drills
• Measuring and cutting material
• Quality checking finished products
• General warehouse duties

Please be aware this a physical/manual role which involves a lot of heavy lifting

Essential Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of recent experience in a similar role
• Flexible to work weekend overtime which is paid at a premium of £16.00

Desired Experience:

• Experience in manufacturing aluminium windows, doors, and related products

• Proven ability to measure and cut profiles using powered cutting tools such as saws, drills, etc.
