Job Role: Assembly & Quality Operative

Pay Rate: £12.00 - £12.50 per hour per hour depending on experience + overtime
Location: Lutterworth
Shift: 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Type: Full-time, permanent

The Company:

  • Forward-thinking, display stand printer, assembler and installer, are looking for a General Operative to support their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a small team of assembly operatives
  • Assist with general Quality Control checks - Visual Inspection of Components

  • Assembly and packing of POS displays and retail fixtures/furniture.

  • Use of hand and power tools

  • Some heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Delivery/collection of goods if the dedicated delivery driver is unavailable, collecting and delivering locally and on rare occasions- nationally.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Competent in assembly and packing of retail display items, working from specific instructions.

  • Part assembling and quality checking components during the assembly phase.

  • Use of appropriate packaging materials to suit protection for the goods.

  • Use of light hand/air powered / power tools.

  • Use correct manual handling techniques, including use of forklift truck (training provided as required.)

  • Accurately record / check condition of fixtures to a brief and making reports for team leader.

  • Hold a full UK driving license.

  • Be fluent in English.
