Asset Finance Based Solicitor

QC Legal have a unique opportunity for an Asset Finance Associate in London to join a top tier firm. You will be working on Superyacht and aviation financing, acting for both banks and borrowers, in relation to term sheets, loan documentation, conditions precedent and subsequent, the mechanics of drawdown and impact on the appropriate new build / sale and purchase documentation. 

You will be involved with reviewing yacht and private aviation contracts (new construction and S&P) for UHNW clients. You will be acting for yacht owners and the majority of major banks who are involved in the provision of finance for new build projects and second hand yachts. As a key player in the team, you will be involved in the negotiation of construction agreements, sale and purchase work, design and project management contracts and other yacht, ship and private aircraft related commercial and regulatory issues. You will advise on a broad range of yacht financings from construction finance, acquisition finance and refinancing’s and restructuring loans.

Candidates are required to demonstrate a breadth of experience in asset based finance. You will demonstrate the excellent communication and technical skills required when dealing with owners, private and asset finance banks, project managers, designers, finance brokers and other intermediaries.
