A leading Infrastructure Consulting firm is looking for two Technical Asset Management Consultants to join their North West and Yorkshire Advisory team. The business has won multiple awards for best in class across a range of industries and services and is recognised as a leader in their field. They offer a suite of services to clients across the built environment, from advisory to construction and engineering, digital, sustainability, and project & programme management - along with having an excellent culture, fostered by being employee owned and not a partnership model. The business provides candidates the opportunity to work on some of the most complex and forward thinking projects in the market, which really make a difference to communities and business.
The candidates coming in will sit in their Assets and Operations team based in the North of England, which is actually their largest service offering outside of London. The successful candidates will apply in-depth asset management knowledge and skills to support the delivery of a range of client projects, focusing principally on transport, water and energy infrastructure. This role will deliver on a range of high-profile projects with major infrastructure operators and will give you the opportunity to leverage own skills to resolve problems and recommend solutions on projects.
Important here is candidates having a foundation of technical knowledge who are looking to move into a more advisory role. You will help win, manage and deliver projects providing strategic and operational advice to asset owners. Key things they are looking for include:
- A background in transport, water and / or energy infrastructure asset management, preferably within a consulting role.
- An engineering degree of qualification (ideally)
- Capability of processing and analysing data to identify issues / trends and develop solutions.
- History of technical analysis of assets in water, rail, infrastructure and / or energy.
- Project management and delivery skills, including financial and risk management.
- Capability in developing business proposals for clients, by understanding client requirements and drawing expertise from across a multi-disciplinary firm.
- Stakeholder engagement experience
This role is hybrid with time in office, client site and home. The team is based in the various offices including York, Sheffield, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester so will consider candidates in any of these locations.
Salary is also negotiable, based on experience and performance through the process.
