An excellent career opportunity has arisen for a progressive Assistant Accountant to join a growing technology company in Elstree. The company prides itself on career progression and excellent company benefits for its staff. This is a great role which will offer the candidate the opportunity to complete their studies towards CIMA, ACCA or AAT.

Duties:

  • Support in preparing and posting monthly accruals, prepayments and general ledger journals.
  • Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide proactive support on the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Timely and accurate bank reconciliations, ledgers and control accounts.
  • Supporting the monthly payroll preparation, as required.
  • Dealing with ad-hoc queries from across the business, as required

Skills required:

  • Previous experience in supporting management accounts
  • Currently studying for a relevant finance qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA).
  • Strong IT and communication skills
