Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be working with a fast-growing retail brand with an iconic stocklist ( and growing) on their search for an all-rounded accounts assistant to join their team permanently.

Successful candidates must have worked within a retail (stock environment - ideally understanding of finance within a D2C e-commerce, wholesale/concession environment) and have a strong track record of AP and AR experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Finance Manager Full responsibility for accounts payable and receivable duties
• Processing invoices, expenses, and payment runs
• Monthly supplier statements & reconciling Bank reconciliations
• Accounts receivable - raising invoices
• Credit control
• Support with year-end audit and month-end duties
• Ad hoc projects - helping implement new systems and procedure

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role covering both sides of the ledger
• Retail industry experience is essential (ideally fashion)
• Strong Excel (Pivot tables/V-Lookups)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment
• Happy to be hands-on with AP/AR duties and get involved with other tasks
• A finance qualification will be advantageous (AAT/part-qualified but isn't essential)

This role is based in London (2 days in the office, 3 days at home), and interviews are taking place ASAP.
