Trinity House Group are working exclusively with a great business based on Birmingham Business Park. This highly successful and profitable business are looking to hire a part qualified ACCA/CIMA student to join them as a Commercial Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a role that can offer huge amounts of progression to the successful candidate

The Role:

  • Preparing monthly Management Accounts including relevant schedules required for the internal & external reporting in accordance with the company policies, whilst keeping to strict monthly deadlines, which including posting monthly accruals, prepayments and other journals

  • Preparing and posting all month-end journals

  • Producing analysis of the revenue streams to ensure revenue is captured in the correct period (occupancy/service/virtual revenue).

  • Managing the fixed asset register and performing centre audits.

  • Preparing monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring all the reconciliation related queries are resolved in the same period.

  • Reviewing monthly transactional/cost reports to ensure relevant costs and associated revenue has been accounted in the correct period.

Skills & Experiences

  • ACCA/CIMA PQ
  • Experience of team working and supporting senior team members
  • Demonstrable skills in MS Office and MS Teams.
  • Previous experience or a knowledge of commercial finance.
  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail.
