Assistant Accountant

CMA is partnering with a fast growth construction business based in Havant on an exclusive basis to recruit a newly created role of Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will report into the Financial Controller.

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Daily postings to the bank;
• Bank reconciliation;
• Balance sheet reconciliation;
• Ownership of credit control function;
• Assisting with purchase ledger;
• Month end including fixed assets, general ledger and prepayments/accruals;
• Ad hoc duties.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• AAT/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience;
• Sage experience would be advantageous but not essential;
• Growth mindset and ability to grow with the role as the organisation grows.
