Accounts Assistant

£29,000 - £33,000

Permanent, Full Time

Merseyside (hybrid-working)

Accounts Assistant required to join a not for profit organisation on a full time permanent basis. My client is looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual who is an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic and fast moving finance function with the opportunity for hybrid working.

Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:

  • Support the budgets and forecasts for department heads
  • Producing reports for budget holders
  • Income analysis
  • Monitoring income and expenditure accounts
  • Maintain supplier statements
  • Assist in the preparation of year end accounts
  • Assist in the company's financial audits

Required skills and experience of the Accounts Assistant

  • AAT qualified or working towards
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems and book-keeping
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Manage own workload including time and deadline management
