Assistant Accountant

Robert Half have partnered with a software company to hire an Assistant Accountant position.

Role

The Assistant Accountant position within this growing software company is based in Hammersmith, London, but offered on a fully remote basis with occasional travel when required. The position is on a permanent basis. It is quite broad, varied and challenging. You will work closely with the financial controller and be responsible for:

• Managing the Accounts Payable and payroll inboxes, processes, processing invoices etc
• Month end - accruals/prepayments/journals
• Bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations
• Month end financial reporting
• Consolidations
• Fixed asset register
• Assisting with financial audit

Profile

Ideally for this remote Assistant Accountant position of this growing software company, you will need to be switched on, an excellent communicator, hardworking and can take full ownership of the role from start to finish.

• You will be able to produce accruals, prepayments journals
• Have good excel skills and experience with financial systems such as Xero or equivalent
• It is an extra bonus to have multi entity experience or consolidations exposure
• Be proactive, attention to detail, good communicator, can work autonomously, well organised etc

Salary & Benefits

This remote Assistant Accountant position within this growing software business is offering between £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + 25 days annual leave, private medical, and more.
