CMA Recruitment Group is working exclusively with a manufacturing business, based in Waterlooville to support the appointment of an Assistant Accountant on a temporary basis.  Supporting the Financial Controller with month-end, payroll, and transactional invoicing, the role may be offered on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate.

What will the temporary Assistant Accountant role involve?

  • Posting month-end journals and checking VAT.
  • Bank and account reconciliations.
  • Payroll processing for 35 employees using Sage Payroll.
  • Purchase and sales ledger processing.

Suitable Candidate for the Temporary Assistant Accountant vacancy:

  • Varied finance experience including month-end.
  • Payroll knowledge.
  • Flexible approach, with the ability to support where required.

Additional benefits and information for the role of temporary Assistant Accountant:

  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays (pro rata if part time).
  • Full or part time hours will be considered.
