Are you an experienced and driven Finance Assistant who is looking to step into an Assistant Management Accountant role, or an Assistant Management Accountant looking to work for a reputable organisation?

You will be confident working on your own and a quick learner who is eager to work for a company which offers flexibility, hybrid working and excellent training where you can develop your skills further.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience of the full range of Management Accounts which will be key for someone who is currently working towards their qualification. You will also have full ownership of the Purchase Ledger.

Main Duties:

  • Monitor the inbox and respond to any queries from suppliers or staff.
  • Input supplier invoice on the PO System for approval and ensure they are matched correctly
  • Accurately collate payment runs at the end of each month, submit for approval and upload
  • Ensure all documents and reports are accurate and updated on a regular basis
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, including revenue reporting, posting of accruals, prepayments, stock and other journals.
  • Analysis figures on a monthly basis
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and cost reports analysis

Skills & Experience

  • Proven Accounting experience either part-qualified, or early stages of studying
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build key relationships
  • Ability to take ownership and work as a dedicated team player
  • Outstanding organisation and prioritisation skills
