Assistant Accountant

An Assistant Accountant is needed to join the thriving Accounting & Finance department of a Retail industry leader in Altrincham due to continued expansion.

Description

The Assistant Accountant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be Hybrid- 3 days in Altrincham office/2 remote. Reporting to the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Preparing VAT Returns
• Month end duties and reconciliations
• Posting Journals
• Assisting with Budgeting and forecasting

Profile

In order to apply for this role you should:

• Have previous experience in balance sheet reconciliation
• Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
• Be able to commute 3 days per week to Altrincham office
• Be able to consider a temporary role initially
