We currently have a fantastic and unique opportunity for experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant Catering Manager to join this great catering team based in Central London.
Catering up to 3500 daily, the catering department services a busy staff restaurant, retail shop, coffee bar and vending as well as hospitality, functions and private dining.
As the Assistant Catering Manager, you will be
* Reporting in to the Catering Manager
* Responsible for a team of approx. 12 FOH including 2 supervisors
* Overseeing all of the front of house service including hospitality
* Manage customer queries and requests ensuring these are filtered to the kitchen when required
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. There may be very occasional weekends (paid at double time)
*Due to the nature of this site, the successful candidate will need to undergo an in-depth security clearance prior to starting the position permanently.
To be considered as a candidate, you will be
* an Assistant Catering Manager or Front of House Manager/Supervisor with a proven, consistent work history
* experienced within hospitality & catering ideally within B&I or contract catering
* able to manage a team of 10+ staff
* attentive to detail and presentation
* adapt at communication with excellent organisational skills
* enthusiastic and dynamic with a flexible and positive, can do attitude
* willing to undergo an in depth security clearance check
