Assistant Chef - Independent School

Location: Hampstead

Start Date: September 2024

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000 - £27,000 (Competitive)

Hours: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Our client, pre-prep school in North London is seeking a dedicated Assistant Chef to play a crucial role in the school's lunchtime program. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the students, preparing them for their afternoon learning sessions.

The school is a Nursery and Pre-Prep school in North London and was established to provide children between the ages of 2 and 7+ years with the highest standard of education and care.

As an Assistant Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing healthy and nutritious lunches to the students.
  • Ensuring the safety and welfare of pupils during lunchtime, following school policies.
  • Helping to create a safe and enjoyable lunchtime environment.

Person Specification

  • Quickly adjust to changes and use initiative effectively.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, children, and staff.
  • Work well with others and follow directions when needed.
  • Maintain composure and efficiency under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills.
