Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless facility operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of electrical work performed.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within an educational or institutional setting.
- Knowledge of electrical regulations and safety procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
