Assistant Facilities Manager, Restaurants/ Food Court, City of London, to £32-35k plus package


Our client is a successful and rapidly expanding facilities management services provider. They are recruiting an Assistant Facilities Manager to help with the delivery of FM services and compliance at a 'high end food arcade' in the heart of the City of London.


As Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the contractors for cleaning, security and maintenance perform to an exceptional level. You will also build strong relationships with the restaurant managers ensuring that all restaurants comply with fire and other statutory regulations - so that no detrimental effects or downtime impact on other occupiers/ areas of this critical building.


The assistant facilities manager will work alongside the FM, covering either 07.00 to 15.30 or 10.30 to 19.00 Monday - Friday. Very occasional earlier starts and later finishes required and Saturday work will be required (with a day off in lieu) from time to time.


The FM and AFM will be based from the client's offices above the arcade. Great interpersonal and communication skills are essential to build strong business relationships with the office occupier/ main tenant, the restaurants and building owner's representatives.


We are looking for an Assistant FM who ideally has gained exposure in the catering/ restaurant sector and who is fully aware of the relevant fire regulations and compliance.


A salary of c£32-35k is offered with a corporate benefits package
