Assistant Finance Business Partner

Robert Half are delighted to be supporting an organisation on the recruitment of an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join the team. This is a home-based contract, but you must be within commutable distance to an office in the Gloucester area and be prepared to travel to sites in the North of England as required.

As Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Finance Business Partner in reporting the financial position of a number of services within the group. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their finance career further in a business with ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Business Partner include but are not limited to:

• Preparing the month end management accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
• Assisting the FBP with preparation of annual budgets and monthly reforecasts.
• Supporting to embed financial controls and processes.
• Preparing balance sheets.
• Providing analysis, financial remodelling and performance monitoring as required.
• Other ad hoc tasks as required by the wider finance team.

Your Profile:

• Prior experience working in a Finance team producing monthly management accounts and reports.
• AAT qualified or studying towards CIMA is preferred.
• Ability to work well remotely and autonomously but also as part of a team.
• Proactive problem solver, always willing to go the extra mile.
• Proficient in Excel.

In return, the salary on offer is up to £32,000 plus benefits.
