My Client, a market leading, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for an Assistant Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their Flood Risk Team based in Manchester.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete varied Flood Risk, Surface Water, Environmental and Drainage Projects for Automotive and Residential Development Projects for Housing Developers, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.

As an Assistant Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete technical work including;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.

-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.

-Drainage Strategy for Planning Applications.

-Drainage and Sewerage Designs using Microdrainage and Causeway Flow.

-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing flood risk assessments or drainage strategies or drainage designs using Microdrainage, Causeway Flow and AutoCAD.

It is essential for applicants to reside locally and have a keen interest in drainage design.
