Experienced Assistant General Manager - Dining Pub, Islington
 
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Assistant General Manager who has passion and flair for all things hospitality. You will be working within a critically acclaimed, high volume premium dining pub, with a Michelin trained Head Chef who’s creativity is above and beyond using the best of British seasonal produce.

The Place
 
Our client is a beautiful historic pub in Islington with a fantastic all day dining menu, private dining room and a large garden who are Michelin listed and are aiming for 2 Rosettes. They are passionate about food and their menu is focused on seasonality and tradition.  They also boast a wide selection of British & European lagers, beers, real ales and ciders, and their wine list was developed by a leading wine expert to perfectly complement their food offering. With four premium, dining pubs in the group, one of which has 2 Rosettes they are a growing, innovative, independent group in the heart of Islington.
 
The Person
 
The successful Assistant General Manager will have the following:
  • Experience in a high volume dining
  • Must have experience in fine dining/premium dining pubs with a minimum 2 AA Rosette standard
  • Ability to lead a strong, experienced, long standing team
  • Confident with a true passion for hospitality
  • Good wine knowledge is preferable
  • Organised, passionate & driven
  • Proactive in driving a business forward through marketing, networking & events
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The face of the business – personable & engaging, ready to build a great rapport with all guests
