Our client is a leading educational institution & charity focusing on specialized education dedicated to empowering young people with learning differences and specific needs aged 16 - 25. They offer a comprehensive program that caters to both academic and personal development, preparing our students for a successful future.

The Opportunity

Our Client is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join their team as the Assistant Head for Student Well-being and Success. In this pivotal role, you will play a leadership role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all students, both within the classrooms and residential facilities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of safeguarding best practices, fostering a secure and supportive environment for all students.
  • Oversee the well-being of students in both academic and residential settings.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop individualized learning plans aligned with each student's needs.
  • Guide students in their transition to their next steps, whether further education, employment, or supported living.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

Your Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with young people with learning differences/specific needs.
  • Previous experience in either educational or residential settings (or both) is a plus.
  • A deep commitment to understanding and catering to individual student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to motivate others.
