We have an Assistant Health and Safety Advisor opportunity with a leading, owner-managed, Construction Consultancy based in Birmingham. This highly regarded firm, very much an Employer of choice, has a broad client base bringing a high percentage of ongoing / repeat work. With work crossing a number of different sectors they can offer a good degree of variety and as result of recent wins, are looking to expand their Health and Safety team.

This is a mobile role undertaking Health and Safety inspections across the UK. Our client has a busy programme of refit works with a national hotel chain; you will be visiting sites where this work is being undertaken. An initial visit to each site will capture general site information and then a formal Health & Safety Inspection will be undertaken. Each site will be visited a number of times over the Construction phase. As this is a mobile role, the successful candidate must be happy to travel most days with some overnight stays as appropriate. Office time is minimal. You will need to be able to plan your diary and ensure visits and reports are submitted on time./

In order to be considered you must have a previous background / experience in Construction, knowledge of Construction processes and an understanding of CDM regulations. A Health and Safety qualification or accreditation is also a definite advantage. You must already be based within the Midlands area and hold a full UK driving license
