As an Assistant Management Accountant you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, cost analysts, reconciliations and being a hands on support to senior stakeholders within the UK team. 

We are looking for a hands on candidate with the gravitas to use their own initiative within a busy environment. We would also like someone who is a confident business partner with solid experience using SAP if possible. 

This role is offered on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days in the office per week. 

Key responsibilities: 
  • Assisting with the monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet recs and cash flow statements 
  • Intercompany and general ledger reconciliations using SAP 
  • Cost analysis and preparation of cost flow reports to evaluate business performance 
  • Maintain and update financial records 
  • Support the development and maintenance of financial models 
  • Assisting with the Accounts Payable and Relievable processing where required 
Key skills: 
  • Part qualified or studying towards an ACCA or CIMA qualification 
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience working within a Finance setting, ideally with experience in management accounting
  • A background within Consultancy/Professional services (or similar) 
  • IT proficient with an understanding of Excel 
  • Experience using SAP would be highly advantageous 
  • A hands on, collaborative work approach 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • A confident business partner and team player
