Description

This could be the perfect role for someone who is part qualified CIMA/ACCA and has had exposure to management accounts, looking for the official next step as Assistant Management Accountant.

• Work closely with Finance Manager with Management information, reporting and providing useful insight that can be used to help increase efficiencies across the operation.
• Financial reporting - weekly and ad hoc basis
• Reporting on key KPIs to the operation
• Collate, assess and validate data
• Working closely with other stakeholders to ensure costs are captured and accurately allocated.
• Understand key drivers of costs
• Support Finance Manager with annual budgets and forecasting for customers
• Nominal ledger tasks - processing journals, period end reconciliations and nominal ledger cross charges.
• Prepare balance sheet
• Get involved with site projects
• Payroll reconciliation
• Attending customer weekly and monthly reviews ad hoc

Profile

• Strong attention to detail
• Someone that enjoys working with data and enjoys analysis
• Have an understanding of management accounts
• Someone that has begun their studies already towards CIMA/ACCA ideally
• Good relationship builder (on all levels)
• Easily approachable by others in the business
• Enjoys working with other areas and people within an operation (as opposed to just working with the finance team only).
• Someone that works on initiative
