Assistant Management Accountant

SF Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a subsidiary of a large Manufacturing group based in Wednesbury as they look to recruit for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their small but friendly team. This role will be varied and support the Financial Controller with the busy month end period as well as day to day transactional duties through the month.

The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience within finance, ideally some month end exposure and be keen to progress with their studies. In addition to an excellent salary you will be given the opportunity to work from home three days a week, have study support as well as company pension and private healthcare.

Role:

- Support with monthly management accounts
- P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- VAT returns
- Support with audit
- Daily sales reporting
- Processing of expenses
- Support with AP and AR
- Ad hoc tasks when required

Requirements:

- AAT Qualified / ACCA or CIMA Studier
- Experience with SAP a huge plus
- Experience within a finance department
- Excellent communication skills
- Good Excel skills
