We are seeking a driven and dynamic Assistant / Management Accountant to join our finance department.

The ideal candidate will have three years practical experience in preparing accurate and timely management accounts. You will also be a key support to the Operations team with any financial, analytical  reporting requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review Profit & Loss identifying/investigating variances
  • Provide insight and actions to improve business performance
  • Be actively involved in developing a robust budget and forecasts
  • Business partner the operations to identify financial opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Attend client meetings to support the business negotiations
  • Maintain balance sheet control accounts, including prepayments and accruals Review business processes in unit to support financial compliance
  • Oversee monthly billing process supporting operations raising accurate invoices Reconcile data between operating systems and SAP financial systems
  • Assist with annual audit and year end close
  • Adhoc reporting requirements required by internal management

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Minimum of three year’s practical experience
  • Experience in reconciling multiple systems
  • Actively studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification

  • Good analytical skill and attention to detail
  • Works well as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Flexible and adaptable to take on a variety of tasks
