Reed Accountancy and Finance are assisting our client in Ashford in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. This contract opportunity will support our client during a period of transition.

Assistant Management Accountant Day-to-day of the role:

  • Processing journal entries, including payments and prepayments.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Handling payment runs efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintaining funded trackers to monitor financial activities.
  • Processing commission payments in a timely manner.
  • Raising invoices and credit notes as required.
  • Allocating company cash to the appropriate accounts.
  • Raising purchase orders in line with company procedures.
  • Coding purchase ledger invoices to ensure proper tracking.

Assistant Management Accountant Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar Assistant Management Accountant role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to start immediately and commit to the temporary assignment with the potential for permanent employment.
