ASSISTANT MANAGER- CREDIT RISK MODELING

Join a big 4 and contribute to our clients' success by providing expert guidance on IFRS 9 compliance and assurance.

THE ROLE

  • Provide expert advice and assurance services to clients on IFRS 9 Financial Instruments, including classification and measurement, impairment, and hedge accounting.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of clients' financial statements and risk management processes to ensure compliance with IFRS 9 requirements.
  • Develop and implement methodologies and models for expected credit loss (ECL) calculations and impairment assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including audit, advisory, and tax, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Stay current with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices related to IFRS 9 and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and technical documentation to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Support clients in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS 9.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive experience in IFRS 9 compliance, financial reporting, or a related role within a consulting or professional services firm.
  • SAS,SQL or python
  • Deep understanding of IFRS 9 standards, including impairment models, ECL calculations, and hedge accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and risk assessment techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
