£30,000 - £32,000 Plus Pension, 25 days holiday, + full training + ongoing career support + 35 hour week

A leading managed IT service provider requires an Assistant Network Manager to support a client's IT services onsite in Esher

Your responsibilities will include,

  • Under the guidance of the Network Manager: Provide Specialist IT support that ensures the site establishes and maintains high quality learning facilities.
  • Assist the Network Manager or Trust Network Manager in the successful operation of the site
  • Mentor colleagues.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) technical information at an appropriate level, and in a suitable style, having assessed the audience.
  • Manage and implement agreed work programs/practices under the guidance of Senior Staff.
  • Monitor and manage stock, cataloging resources, and undertaking audits as required
  • Supporting and maintaining the infrastructure within the clients to ensure maximum uptime troubleshooting within a predominantly Microsoft environment
  • Be able to find solutions to common IT/ Network problems
  • You will manage your own day-to-day workload
  • Deputise for the Network Manager as and when required

Our Requirements

  • Industry qualifications within the IT sector, include; Microsoft, Cisco, Aruba, and Apple, are preferred
  • 2 - 3 years experience in an IT helpdesk or IT Support environment
  • Solid understanding of wired and wireless networks and devices
