Assistant Relationship Manager

Your new company
My client is an international bank with over a half century of presence in London and billions in assets under management. They are seeking an ambitious and innovative professional who is passionate about developing relationships with existing and new clients. The successful candidate will take a role marketing the banks' products and services. The team currently focusses on developing business opportunities with both UK domestic and European businesses with a growing link to the Chinese market. You will be looking to help grow these markets and develop new business.

Your new role
The role will entail assisting the Relationship Managers in developing existing and new relationships, with a focus on financial institutions clients, participating in syndicated and bilateral loans, cross market banking products and providing value-adding solutions to clients. The desk also has the ability to build its own ad hoc book in line with the Bank's risk appetite. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work within a small team and quickly adapt to cover a broad area of duties within the department.

What you'll need to succeed

• Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in banking or related finance industry.
• Well-developed understanding and solid analytical skills in the area of balance sheets, cash flow and income statements.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese, both written and oral.
