We are currently working on behalf of a leading private bank and seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join their team as a Private Banking Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients and supporting Relationship Managers in all aspects of their work

Key Responsibilities:

Arranging and organizing customer and business development meetings

Attending meetings with the Relationship Manager and preparing memoranda of notes as required

Preparing straightforward and, where applicable, more complex lending propositions to the required standard

Having a good understanding of Regulated Mortgage Contracts and Consumer Credit Act regulations

Preparing new customer documentation

Providing desk cover for Senior Relationship/Relationship Managers where necessary

Representing the bank and the department at a minimum of three bank events per month

Handling customer contact on all day-to-day issues

Writing letters to customers and professional intermediaries

Preparing and undertaking customer reviews

Monitoring daily overdraft positions

Requirements:

3 years plus experience supporting RMs/Private Bankers

CeMap Qualification - An advantage

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong understanding of lending (such has mortgages)

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge of the private banking industry and ability to represent the bank in a professional and knowledgeable manner
