We are currently looking for an Assistant Sommelier for our client, a multiple award-winning fine dining restaurant near Effingham, Surrey.

The team are passionate and dedicated to providing outstanding food, drink and service and as the Assistant Sommelier, you will be an integral part of the team and pivotal in the success of the Restaurant.

The role:
-Responsible for looking after the guests' wine needs.
-Delivering exceptional service
-Ensure each service is prepared to the highest standard.
-Ensure wine knowledge is up-to-date and varied to cater to our guests' needs.

About you:
-Have experience as a Sommelier / Chef de Rang in a fast-moving fine dining restaurant
-Strong knowledge of wine and beverages
-WSET Level 2 - 3
-Excellent leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
-Ability to thrive under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines

Hours of Work:
4 days per week, Wednesday to Saturday.
