CassonX are delighted to have been asked to recruit for this amazing $9bn Fixed Income focussed Relative Value Macro fund based in St James’s. To be considered for this junior role, CassonX are looking to identify someone with 1 -7 years experience in an Operations or Middle Office role. Obvious preference is for someone who comes from a buyside or prime brokerage operations or middle office background, and certainly if you have Fixed Income (cash and OTC & ETD derivatives) product knowledge. You must be able to showcase at least degree education, but also a real common sense thought process to all that you do. Experience of directly working with traders and their complex queries and investigations is of paramount importance, and tenacity coupled with dedication to do the best you can. We are looking for someone who is “keen”, and will embrace such a good opportunity. Preference will be given to those who can showcase at least one of the following:

• OTC knowledge and experience of Markitwire
• Fixed Income knowledge and experience of CTM,
• Listed product knowledge and experience of Traiana or Harmony

In return for a successful face to face interview process, you will be rewarded with an incredibly varied Traders Assistant type role, working in a youthful yet talented team, directly working with the Portfolio Managers and Traders, which encompasses everything supporting the Trade Lifecycles, PnL, Pricing, Risk Management, various Reconciliations and FX hedging as example.
