Salary icon £30,000 per annum

Contract Personnel are pleased to be working with their new client who is based in Great Yarmouth and looking for an Assistant Wedding Coordinator to join their venue team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have 1-year similar experience, or come from a banqueting/hospitality background and be comfortable carrying out the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Wedding Coordinator with all aspects of a wedding
  • Liaising with the Bride and Groom to ensure their special day runs smoothly
  • Regular communication with the Banqueting chef
  • Ensuring the wedding set up is in order and correct, and that time scales on the day are met and everything runs smoothly
  • Serving the Wedding Breakfast with the Wedding Team
  • Stocking and working behind the wedding
  • The promotion of weddings at this private venue is imperative – so social media and marketing knowledge are essential

Other Requirements:

  • The ability to work on your own initiative and work well within a team. This is a fast-paced environment where you may need to problem solve throughout the day so that each wedding runs smoothly.
  • When there are no weddings booked, you will be required to Supervise and work in the main bar and restaurant area.
  • A full driving licence or your own transport are preferred due to the location and that fact that public transport will not be available at the later hours.

You may be required to carry out any other duties that are within the scope of the job, as requested by the Wedding Coordinator.

This is a full time, permanent role offering no less than 40 hours per week. You must be available to work days or evenings Monday to Friday, as well as have weekend availability.

The salary is competitive, depending on experience.
