My Client is a capital advisory business within the real estate space with close links to the Investment & Agency business, my client provides best-in-class advice to clients raising debt or equity across the property lifecycle.

My client is seeking an Associate to join the real estate debt & equity advisory team in a period of continued growth.

Interacting on a daily basis with senior partners on significant deal flow, responsibilities will include:

Origination:

* Lead alongside Partners in the origination of new debt and equity advisory clients and

mandates. We envisage this individual to take ownership over certain client relationships.

Evaluation of Deals:

* Conduct due diligence on potential clients

* Analyse transactions from a qualitative and quantitative perspective

* Undertake economic and market research to validate assumptions within proposals

* Produce & present various cashflow models to determine debt capacity and appropriate

financing structures to include senior debt, bridging, mezzanine as well as structuring joint

ventures

* Prepare full Deal Memo to present to Lenders, and consider which Lenders would be

appropriate to approach

Deal Execution:

* Present the investment opportunity to targeted lenders on behalf of clients with detailed

analysis of investment rationale, valuation and capital structure considerations as well as

potential exit strategies.

* Negotiate terms offered by lenders and present back to clients

* Assist Lender in obtaining credit approval

* Review legal documents and assist the Borrower in presenting deal and information to other Lender stakeholders including Valuers

The Candidate:

The candidate must be a highly motivated team player, with excellent technical skills and a strong

desire to learn new skills as part of a dynamic and growing team.

Specific skills / experience required are outlined below:

* Proven strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

* Experience in the real estate debt space, either from an advisory business or a lender.

* University degree with an excellent academic track record.

* Proven ability to generate new business, with the Candidate showing strong communication

skills

* Professionalism, presentation and attention to details are key for this role as the candidate

will be representing the brand in the real estate industry.
