Associate Director - Block Management

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Location: City of London

Our client, a leading brand in the property management industry, has contracted Cobalt to help with the hire of an Associate Director for their team.

Within the role, you will still have your own portfolio to manage, however your primary responsibility will be team management and the portfolio you'll be directly overseeing is relatively small.

If you have team management experience, or are a punchy Senior PM looking for step up then this could be the role for you!

Why this role:

  • Very competitive package based on experience
  • Flexible working opportunities (only 3 days per week in the office)
  • Management of a small team
  • New and fresh office space

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of their own portfolio of properties, including:

  • Maintenance of the buildings and communal areas
  • Liaising with contractors regarding maintenance and major works
  • Site visits to ensure good building condition
  • Managing onsite staff, including concierge, cleaners and maintenance
  • Maintaining health and safety regulations and legislation
  • Producing and managing service charge budgets across the portfolio

In addition to the previously listed responsibilities, you will be actively involved in Team Management:

  • Helping to oversee a team of Assistant Portfolio Managers and other junior staff members
  • Assist with the management of the wider teams portfolio
  • Supervise portfolio managers at quarterly meetings
  • Monitor the team's success through weekly meetings

Key skills required:

  • Significant experience managing a large leasehold portfolio
  • Strong customer service and attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of the section 20 process and dealing with major works projects
  • Strong budgeting and financial management experience

If this position is of interest and you feel you would be a suitable candidate, then please apply online or contact Will Jacques on to arrange an initial phone call.
