Associate Electrical Engineer - Building Services

Your new company

You'll be working for a successful multidisciplinary consultancy based in Glasgow, who are looking for an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join their Building Services team. This consultancy works on a variety of projects across Scotland's Central Belt as well as UK wide, operating across commercial, residential, industrial, educational, etc.

Your new role

You'll play a key part in leading the Electrical Design team and will be at the forefront of multiple projects as well as have the opportunity to mentor engineers under your supervision. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the electrical team on a multitude of projects.
• Designing and developing electrical systems for building services projects.
• Preparing technical reports and specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Ensuring projects are delivered within the scheduled timeframe
• Attending meetings and liaising with clients, contractors, engineers and other disciplines
• Supervising the development of your team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Electrical design engineering on Building Services projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and building codes.
• Excellent communication and business development skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
