Working for this award-winning international commercial law firm as an Associate, you will work within the Family team who deal with high-net-worth individuals requiring divorce and financial remedy work, along with nuptial agreements and private children law matters.

Salary – Competitive

Location – Liverpool + Hybrid 2 days from home

Role Type – Permanent / Full Time / 9-5:30 / Mon-Fri

The Role

You'll support senior lawyers on complex matrimonial cases, manage your own matrimonial and private children law cases, accompany Counsel to court, and conduct your own advocacy on simpler matters. Business development across the Northwest and nationally will also be part of your role.

The team is ranked band 1 by Chambers and Partners in Liverpool, giving you access to the best standards of practice and therefore excellent training opportunities.

Key responsibilities include client care, business development, drafting documentation, instructing Counsel and experts, negotiating, attending court, and advocacy. You'll collaborate on complex financial matters and manage your own caseload.

You’ll need to possess advocacy experience as well as previous experience of managing a caseload of matrimonial and private children work. You’ll also need some experience in divorce, financial remedy applications and private children act matters.

We’re looking for 1-3 years PQE.
