We are currently partnering with a leading educational body based in Central London, who are recruiting for an Associate HR Business Partner to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Our client is proud to be one of the oldest educational institutions in London who teach students across a wide range of courses. They welcome students from across the globe and have been recognised internationally for their work.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £43,205 - £50,585 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting the Senior HRBP with HR related project work and assist with the implementation of the relevant People Plans which could include workforce planning, talent & succession, reward and ED&I
  • Supporting processes around organisational change, organisational restructuring and TUPE
  • Providing consistent HR advice to managers, including on organisational policies, employment best practice and the application of these to day-to-day management
  • Resolving more complex queries which are escalated from the HR operations team
  • Running analysis of reports and data to identify trends and work collaboratively with the Senior HRBP to identify initiatives or strategies to address issues
  • Leading on supporting formal and informal ER casework as well as providing support and guidance to managers at all stages of the process and ensuring risk based and commercial advice
  • Ensuring the comprehensive investigation and hearing outcome reports and other documentation as necessary is completed to a high standard, coaching and advice managers as needed
  • Managing and coordinating employment tribunal activity, including completion of reports, gathering of data and liaising with legal advisors

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Leading on complex ER cases
  • Running analysis on HR related reports
  • HR project work
  • Liaising with Trade Unions
