Ambition is working with a Top 100 Accountancy firm in North London who are currently seeking an Associate Partner to join their general practice offering in a newly created role, working across a 2 Partners managing their portfolios. There is opportunity for progression to join the equity Partnership and will receive career development from other Partners to help that.


The Firm:

Based in North London, a top 100 accountancy firm that has developed a strong client base of market leading brands, high net worth individuals within specialist and genuinely interesting sectors, and a variety of owner managed businesses. The firm do not advertise and their reputation has grown through referrals, hold very high technical standards with and are always looking for staff that will push the Partnership team to develop their career.

The Role:

Owing to consistent growth the newly created opportunity to join as Associate Partner responsible for providing leadership to the team, managing a portfolio of clients, and supporting peers and Partners. The role will cover a range of industries and service offerings but largely across Accounts and Tax. This role also includes planning, monitoring, reviewing work of junior members and taking responsibility for team and department initiatives. Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing a diverse client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service across Accounts and mixed Tax services
  • Offer a variety of business advisory and comprehensive accountancy services to clients.
  • Delegate and review of work, budget management, deadline adherence, and WIP reporting.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of business services.
  • Foster the development and expansion of new clients and opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain enduring relationships with clients as their primary contact.
  • Manage the department and facilitate staff development to ensure optimal performance and delivery.

TheCandidate

The successful candidate must be either ACA or ACCA qualified with 2+ years of post-qualified experience, demonstrable knowledge of managing staff and running a team. In addition, candidates will need to be able clearly demonstrate:

  • A proven track record managing client relationships and a large portfolio of business
  • Ability to manage variety of tasks and deadlines, good time management and able to work under pressure
  • Very strong communication skills and ability to advise clients with well thought strategy planning
  • Forward thinking, demonstrating confidence to move forward with ideas
  • Business Development
  • Able to travel easily to North London
