Associate Planner

Salary negotiable - depending on experience

Location: Bedford

Monday - Friday

Hybrid - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday onsite (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

Our client is one of the UK's leading planning-led practices, providing tailored advice to our clients across the development sector. Due to increased growth and expansion, the office is looking for an Associate Planner to join a friendly and busy team.

Responsibilities: Associate Planner

• Provide commercial planning advice to a range of clients
• Prepare high-quality planning submissions
• Build strong client relationships through networking and maintaining existing client relationships.
• Proactively manage engagement with the local planning authority and other key stakeholders
• Represent your clients' commercial interests throughout the planning process.
• Have excellent written, verbal and technical skills appropriate to your role.
• Generally, contribute to the growth and success of the Bedford office

Experience: Associate Planner

• Ideally you will have a minimum 5-8 years' professional experience (in either the private or public sector).
• You must have a degree in town planning degree or related subject.
• You should possess a sound knowledge of the planning system and experience of a wide range of planning issues.
• You should have good interpersonal communication and relationship management skills and have the ability to manage and prioritise projects on a day-to-day basis.
• We are looking for candidates who are well motivated and ready to get involved in key projects, instilling high standards of work and building up good, strong client relationships.
